Gets a policy on a resource.

If no policy is set on the resource, NOT_FOUND is returned. The etag value can be used with policies.patch() to update a policy during read-modify-write.

GET https://orgpolicy.googleapis.com/v2/{name=projects/*/policies/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. Resource name of the policy. See Policy for naming requirements. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name: orgpolicy.policies.get

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Policy.

Authorization scopes

Requires the following OAuth scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
