Deletes a DataTaxonomy resource. All attributes within the DataTaxonomy must be deleted before the DataTaxonomy can be deleted.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. The resource name of the DataTaxonomy: projects/{project_number}/locations/{locationId}/dataTaxonomies/{dataTaxonomyId} Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name: dataplex.dataTaxonomies.delete

Query parameters

Parameters
etag	string Optional. If the client provided etag value does not match the current etag value,the dataTaxonomies.delete method returns an ABORTED error.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
