Deletes an EntryType.

HTTP request

DELETE https://dataplex.googleapis.com/v1/{name=projects/*/locations/*/entryTypes/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. The resource name of the EntryType: projects/{project_number}/locations/{locationId}/entryTypes/{entryTypeId}. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name: dataplex.entryTypes.delete

Query parameters

Parameters
etag	string Optional. If the client provided etag value does not match the current etag value, the DeleteEntryTypeRequest method returns an ABORTED error response.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
