This command deletes an index along with the index definition. This is a cluster-level operation resulting in the index definition being dropped across all nodes.

Syntax

FT.DROPINDEX index

• index (required): This is the name of the index that you want to delete.

Command returns

• Returns an error message or success confirmation.
