With BYOC, you can use voice support phone numbers from the telephony provider of your
choice. In addition, you can integrate with existing telephony and contact
infrastructure.
With BYOC enabled, you can keep your existing phone number and route
support calls to CCAI Platform through one of our carrier SIP Trunks.
Requirements
To set up BYOC, you must meet the following requirements:
Phone number has to be supplied in +E.164 phone number formatting.
BYOC requires preliminary setup that must be done at the carrier level.
Contact your system administrator for assistance.
Set up BYOC
To set up BYOC, follow these steps:
In the CCAI Platform portal, click Settings > Developer Settings. If you don't
see the Settings menu, click menuMenu, and then click Settings > Developer Settings.
Go to the Bring Your Own Carrier pane.
Click the toggle to the on position.
Under Country, select the country where you want to operate.
Enter the trunk SID, the origination target URI, or both, depending on your
carrier.
